What is Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation?
Fat transfer breast augmentation is the process of using liposuction to harvest fat from one part of the body (generally the thighs, flanks, or abdomen), purifying it, and injecting it into the breasts to achieve subtle volume enhancement. As opposed to a traditional breast augmentation, which relies on the use of implants to enhance shape and volume, this method acts as a more natural alternative. While using the fat transfer method cannot bump up cup size drastically (only about one-half to one full cup size), it remains an increasingly popular form of breast surgery today.
